The summer hit, “Call Me Maybe” by Justin Bieber’s protege, Carly Rae Jepsen has entered the #1 spot on iTunes for the second time! The song in unavoidable with dozens of lip sync videos on Youtube by celebs such as Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Ashley Tisdale, “The Fashion Police” cast, Glee and even our president Barack Obama. The 24 year old singer tells E! how she never gave her number to a boy and that was the inspiration of the song. The singer explains that she never expected the song to become so popular, none the less all the Youtube videos. Justin Bieber found Carley Rae Jepsen through the Canadian American Idol, where she placed third place. Carley Rae will be joining Bieber on his sold out North American Tour this September and is expected to release her upcoming album this fall.
