If you missed it, Russel Brand hosted the MTV Movie Awards last night (not sure why MTV keeps allowing him to host, he’s not that entertaining). As you know Brand loves to make fun of celebrities and as well as getting on Justin Beiber and Michael Fassbender, Brand also got on ex-wife Katy Perry through a joke on Kanye West and Kim Kardashian:

“Wait until you see what I have to say about celebrities with short-lived marriages! Kanye storming the stage the last time I hosted took a lot of pressure off me, and Kim’s record-breaking short marriage also took pressure off me. Cheers.” 

Russel Brand and Katy Perry met at the MTV Movie Awards in 2009 and just recently divorced earlier this year. Brand commented on that stating:

“The last time I hosted I did marry someone who was there, so I’m keeping my eyes open for a new wife tonight”
