Jay-Z is currently working on writing new songs for a remake of the classic movie, Annie. The modern day Annie will star, Willow Smith, 11, who is now the same age as the main character. Will Smith confirmed that he will be producing the film that features an updated script. A director has not been confirmed yet.  We can’t forget that Jay-Z sampled the soundtrack to Annie to his record Hard Knock Life in 1999, can we expect some more Annie hits in the near future?
