Kanye West named one of his most recent songs after the medicine, Theraflu, because he’s so cold to his enemies.Theraflu is an over-the-counter medecine used when one has the cold and flu syptoms. The company stated:
“We in no way endorse or approve the references or the use of the image and likeness of Theraflu in this matter”
It’s unsure if the company will take this situation to the next level and sue Kanye or if they will just use the song as promotion for the medicine. Also PETA, an animal rights organization released a statement on the song to which Kanye fired shots at them with the line:
“Tell PETA my mink is draggin’ on the floor.”
The organization released the statement:
“What’s draggin’ on the floor is Kanye’s reputation as a man with no empathy for animals or human beings”
