New MV: Sage The Gemini & Nick Jonas Take A Trip For A “Good Thing”

sage-nick-goodAfter hitting us with the club banging single “Guatanamara” featuring Trey Songz, Sage The Gemini slows it down with a smooth single titled “Good Thing” featuring Nick Jonas. The lyrics of the track explore a messy relationship that you don’t want to leave behind. “We’re both getting emotional! The same time getting so sexual! Why can’t it just be what it is?” Nick croons on the explosive hook. In the video, the duo take a trip to the tropical forests to party with beautiful women. Currently, Sage The Gemini is preparing his forthcoming sophomore album due for release later this year! Baby you can be a movie star/ in Los Angeles! Get yourself a medical card, cause how California rolls!” In the video to Snoop Dogg’s “California Roll”, the rap mogul, along with Pharrell and Stevie Wonder, takes us on a trip to Los Angles in the future via an amusement park simulation ride. According to Snoop, Los Angeles will be complete with Egyptian pyramids, flying cars and beautiful hieroglyphics. Most recently, Snoop has been working with Pharrell for his new album Bush. The album, released May 12th, features Gwen Stefani, T.I. Rick Ross and Kendrick Lamar. I think this new, innovative sound really works for him! “It’s completely different than anything we’ve ever done. It feels good, sounds good, looks good,” Snoop explained.  Check out Snoop Dogg’s “California Roll” featuring Pharrell & Stevie Wonder below!

New Music: Kendrick Lamar & Lady Gaga- “Partynauseous”

2rh5hqtLong before Kendrick Lamar teamed up with Taylor Swift, the Compton rapper was working with pop diva Lady Gaga. Back in 2012, before the release of good kidd m.A.A.d. city, Kendrick was in the studio with Gaga, hence the scrapped “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe”. Fast forward three years, highly anticipated m.A.A.d. city track “Partynauseous” hits the web! Unlike the titled suggest, “Partynauseous” is a smooth, psychedelic track about getting high and loving the ones around you. “Tell my momma it’s bad karma I just killed a man. Tell your honey, he got to pardon me if I hid my hand! F**ck what you heard this s**t is revolutionary,” Kendrick spits over the DJ White Shadow production. While the track wouldn’t have fit on the debut, I’m wondering what other tracks Kendrick has in the vault. Especially amongst his latest flop, To Pimp A Butterfly. Check out Kendrick Lamar and Lady Gaga on “Partynauseous” below!

New Music: Drake – “Can I” ft. Beyonce & Sal Houdini

New Music: Drake - "Girls Love Beyonce" Ft. James FauntleroyLast year, Beyonce plugged in Drake for her self titled album’s “Mine”. This time around, Drizzy plugs in Queen Bey for Views From The 6 track “Can I”. After a snippet leaked earlier this week, the full track surfaced on the web! “I can do a little for you, I can do a mile for you! I don’t know if I told you! That I’m reminiscing the days off you! You remember me when I was the old me! I would have given everything if you told me … I’ll meet you on the 6 side,” they sing over the smooth production. In between verses from Drake and a reported newcomer named Sal Houdini comes a murmured, “can I” and “baby” from Beyonce. If you were hoping for more Beyonce, you might want to head over to Nicki’s “Feeling Myself” video. However, the track serves as the first cut from Drake’s highly anticipated fourth album. As I said in my review for Drake’s If Your Reading This It’s Too Late, unlike the mixtape, the album will not contain hard-hitting, high-energy tracks but more radio-friendly, Take Care-esq felt tracks. What do you think? Check out Drake’s “Can I ” featuring Beyonce and Sal Houdini below!
